    Solution :

     Discount= Rs. \[(2000-1600)\] = Rs. 400 If rate of discount =\[x%,\]then, \[x%,\]of 2000 = 400 \[\Rightarrow \frac{2000\times x}{100}=400\] \[\Rightarrow x=\frac{400}{20}=20\]
