    A) Lysosome

    B)        Chloroplast

    C)        Ribosome

    D)        Vacuole

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

Cell organelle common in Monera and Protista is ribosome. Kingdom-Monera includes bacteria, Actinomyces, actinomycetes mycoplasma, spirochaetes are, rickettseat, chlamydiae and cyanobacteria. Membrane bound organellae are absent in the members of Monera and type of ribosomes present are 70S type. Lysosomes are single membrane bound organelles containing hydrolyzing enzyme. They were discovered by Christian de Duve (1955). Chloroplasts are green plastids which take part in photosynthesis and temporary or permanent storage of starch. Vacuoles are non-cytoplasmic sacs, which are separatesd from cytoplasm by a membrane called tonoplast.
