    Solution :

    Phellem is a group of tissue formed due to the activity of phellogen (cork cambium) towards the outer side. While towards the inner side, phellogen cuts another group of cells called phelloderm or secondary cortex. Below the secondary cortex is occured secondary phloem. It is formed due to the activity of vascular cambium which cuts secondary xylem towards inner side. This newly formed secondary xylem is called autumn wood.
