    The ovule is attached to placenta by means of stalk called funicle. On the basis of the relative position of micropyle, body of the ovule and funicle, i.e. the degree of curvature, ovule is classified into 6 types. Orthotropous, anatropous,    hemianatropous, compylotropous, amphrtropous and circinotropous. Hemianatropous ovule is in which ovule lims at 90° angle upon the funicle or body of ovule is at right angle to the finicle, e.g. - Ranunculus.
