    Solution :

                     Absolute permeability of material of rod \[\mu ={{\mu }_{r}}{{\mu }_{0}}\]                 \[=(1+{{\chi }_{m}}){{\mu }_{0}}\] \[\mu =(1+499)\times 4\pi \times {{10}^{-7}}\] \[=2\pi \times {{10}^{-4}}H{{m}^{-1}}\]
