                     Given, \[u=-mf\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{1}{v}-\frac{1}{(-mf)}=-\frac{1}{f}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\frac{1}{v}=-\frac{1}{f}\left( 1+\frac{1}{m} \right)\]      \[\Rightarrow \]               \[-\frac{v}{f}=\frac{m}{m+1}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[-\frac{v}{u}=\left( \frac{1}{1+m} \right)\]
