      Introduction

Prepositions are short words (in, to, at, on), which are usually used before a noun or pronoun, to show its relation with other noun or pronoun of the sentence.  

A Cat is sitting on a chair                                    James is going to school  

 Student are sitting in the class.                        A rat is sitting under the table.

        The sun is over head  

In the above given examples

'on', 'to', 'in', 'under', 'over' are prepositions.
