A noun that denotes one person, place, animal, or thing is called singular noun.
For example: doctor, fan, glass, box, bottle, etc.
A noun that denotes more than one person place animal, or thing is called plural noun.
For example: balls, pens, books, toffees, keys, etc.
However, some nouns exist only in plural forms.
For example: jeans, scissors, tongs, etc.
