The least common multiple or LCM of 4 and 6 is not other than 12. HCF or highest Commonfactoroftwoormore numbers is obtained by factorization of the numbers. Therefore, the factors of 12 and 14 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12 and 1, 2, 7, 14 respectively, but the HCF or highest common factor is only 2.
