    A)  3 : 7

    B)  3 : 4

    C)  5 : 2

    D)         1 : 1

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

The amount of alcohol in the old mixture is \[\frac{3}{7}\times 105=45\,\text{mL}\]. Further, 105 mL alcohol is added Therefore, total alcohol in new mixture is 150 mL water content is (105 - 45) = 60 mL. Alcohol to water ratio is 150 : 60 or 5 : 2.
