[a] From May 1, 2013, the Union Government launched National Urban Health Mission and integrated it along with the existing National Rural Health Mission as two sub-missions of National Health Mission. Thus, both NRHM and NUHM are now sub-missions of NHM. The Union Budget 2014-15 has allocated Rs. 21912 Crore for National Health Mission.
