    Solution :

    Let the work complete in x days. \[\therefore \] By given condition,             \[\frac{2}{8}+\frac{x}{10}+\frac{x-2}{15}=1\] \[\therefore \]      \[\frac{1}{4}+\frac{3x+2x-4}{30}=1\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{15+10x-8}{60}=1\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[10x+7=60\]    \[\Rightarrow \]   \[10x=53\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=\frac{53}{10}\text{days}\]
