    According to Grahams law \[\frac{{{r}_{1}}}{{{r}_{2}}}=\sqrt{\frac{{{M}_{2}}}{{{M}_{1}}}}\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{{{r}_{X}}}{{{r}_{Y}}}=\sqrt{\frac{{{M}_{Y}}}{{{M}_{X}}}}\] or            \[\frac{2{{r}_{Y}}}{{{r}_{Y}}}=\sqrt{\frac{{{M}_{Y}}}{8}}\]                               \[(\because {{r}_{X}}=2{{r}_{Y}})\] \[\therefore \]  \[4=\frac{{{M}_{Y}}}{8}\] or            \[{{M}_{Y}}=32\]
