Duminy will, however, continue to be available for South Africa in T20 Internationals.  Indian scientists have developed a common framework for the assessment of climate change vulnerability in all the states in the Himalayan region. The assessment shows that the vulnerability index is the highest for Assam (0.72) and Mizoram (0.71). Sikkim is the least vulnerable state with the index being 0.42. Professor NH Ravindranath from IISc, Bangalore, stated that the framework can be applied to states in the rest of the country as well, with suitable modifications. |

 The human resource consulting firm, Mercer’s annual Quality of Living Survey 2019has placed Austria’s capital city Vienna at the number 1 spot, making it the 10th year in a row. The only cities outside of Europe to make the top 10 list are Vancouver, Canada, and Auckland, New Zealand. The Economist Intelligence Unit had also given Vienna the top spot in its ranking of the world’s most liveable cities in 2018. Hyderabad and Pune, at a rank of 143, continue to be the most liveable cities in India for expatriates. |

 The Supreme Court appointed senior advocate PS Narasimha as a mediator for resolving various disputes related to cricket administration within the cricket body, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Narasimha will hear the BCCI’s position, and then make recommendations to the Committee of Administrators (CoA). Narasimha is assisting the apex court as amicus curiae in the BCCI matter. The court restrained all other courts in India from entertaining any matter pertaining to BCCI and state cricket associations. |
