Today is Teacher's Day and we celebrate this day to honor and recognise the wonderful work our teachers do. They Guide, work with us, inspire us, shape our thinking for better and open the infinite opportunities for the future. Without a teacher, we can't imagine the world within and outside. India has commemorated the birth anniversary of the great Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan since 1962 to honor such wonderful teachers across the country. He was a staunch believer in education and was a well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all, a Teacher. When Radhakrishnan became the President of India in 1962, some of his students and friends requested him to let them celebrate his birthday. Mr. Radhakrishnan’s rejoinder to their call was, “I would be privileged if you celebrate my birthday as a tribute to all the teachers across the country, that is, Teachers' Day.” They could conjecture Mr. Radhakrishnan's the hidden love and respect for the teaching profession and since then, this day, 5th of September, has been observed as Teachers' Day in our country.
They put their heart and soul into building up a student’s career and help them fight the losing battles. Teachers’ Day is an opportunity to pay tribute and gratitude to not only the teachers but everyone who gave us the right guidance and put his/her continuous, selfless and precious efforts in moulding our lives to come up in the world. It is not an exaggeration to say that a great teacher can bring a striking change in a student’s life. Teachers are the real holder of knowledge, enlightenment and prosperity using which they nourish and prepare us for our life. They serve as a source of lighting lamp in our lives. It is our teachers who stand behind our success. We should realize the necessity and value of our teachers in our lives and celebrate Teachers’ Day every year to pay them homage for a great job. We, the complete team of Adda247, bankersadda, sscadda, ctetadda and defenceadda wish all the teachers, who perform this great job with best of their efforts to shape the future of students, a very Happy Teachers Day.
