  • WRITE A LETTER TO YOUR FRIEND INFORMING YOU FACED FROM YOUR COLLEGE SENIOR,
  •   31, Sitaram lane, Allahabad   18th July, 2016   Dear Jai,   I hope you are in good health.   I feel really tensed as 1 write this letter to you. I do not know anyone with whom I can share what's haunting me. Last week, my college senior came to my room while I was reading. He started getting angry with me for no reason and went on to hit me badly. I couldn't even get up from the bed and didn't go to class the next day. His friends came to my room next day and warned me against telling anyone. I have a concussion on my eye and severe pain in my stomach at present. I don't know what to do.   Please revert as soon as possible, my friend.   Yours truly, Vilas

  • WRITE A LETTER TO A FRIEND ASKING FOR SUGGESTIONS ABOUT COACH" ING CENTERS IN HIS AREA FOR YOUR SON.
  •   58, Ram Vihar Ramgarh   20th November 2016   Dear Kailash,   I hope you are doing fine.   Though it has been long since we both got out of touch, the memories of our college days still stay fresh in my mind. We three, Kashyap, you and me, had real fun there.   Have you been in touch with Kashyap? I saw him at the mall here two days back and he only told that you're in Delhi.   My son, Ravinder, has completed B.Tech in Mechanical engineering and wants to get into the civil services now. He has been studying on his own, but seeing his dedication, I think I should let him join a good coaching centre. I've heard that the best ones are there in Delhi. Could you please make enquiries about that? I heard from Kashyap that your son is also taking coaching for the same. How is his study going on?   How is your business going on? How is Hema?   Send me a detailed reply, my friend.   Yours sincerely, Devendra Nath

  • WRITE A LETTER TO YOUR FRIEND IN THE US ABOUT A BOOK YOU READ RECENTLY.
  •   89, Sarojini Nagar Amritsar   28th December 2015   Dear Michael,   I hope Christmas was beautiful there. We made a walnut cake here and lit up the whole house with LEDs. With my aunt's family joining us for lunch, it was a real celebration at my house.   How is your reading going on? I recently got the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin and was quite surprised as to why I hadn't read the book before, with the man being so prominent in numerous walks of life.   I was surprised to see how humble the man was in his writing, in spite of him being one of the greatest polymaths of all times. Starting as a newspaperman and going on to be one of the founding fathers of the first democracy in the world, the man was nothing less than a genius. I was quite impressed by the way he scheduled his life, and the surety with which he said that he'd live the same life again, if given a chance.   Write to me about the book you're reading. Discussions with you on reading are really informative and interesting. I hope you find them the same.   Give my regards to your mom and dad.   Yours sincerely, Veda

  • WRITE A REPRESENTATIVE LETTER TO YOUR MLA REGARDING THE STRAY DOG MENACE THAT HAS AFFECTED YOUR VILLAGE.
  •   The RWA Azhikode village   27th September 2015   The MLA Talap constituency Kannur   Sub: To bring to your notice the stray dog menace.   Sir,   We'd like to bring to your attention the menace of stray dogs recurring in our village for the past 2 years. Two years back, an old man was killed by street dogs which attracted much media attention. The visit of officials then, gave us some hope of resolution, but in vain. Last month, two school kids were bitten by dogs leaving them severely traumatized. This has caused fear in other kids in the locality too, making them reluctant to go out alone. Our community health centre is also not equipped to deal with attack victims, compelling us to travel 25 kms to reach the district hospital. Despite repeated requests, our village panchayat members have not solved our grievance. Being the legislator who represents our constituency, we request you to resolve this, so that our kids can go out in peace.   Yours sincerely, RWA Azhikode village
