Introduction.  Our examinations were over. We felt relief after Hard labour. It was month of May.  We were wailing for the   Examination result. The occasion. Introduction. Our Principal sent an order to the classes that the Inspector of Schools would pay a visit on l5th of December. The teachers and the students became serious. Preparations. Introduction. I live near the Jamuna River in a small village. Forty families lived there. Every year during the rainy season our village is surrounded by Jamuna water. We have built our houses on the rocky ground. It is much above the level of the surrounding earth. Heavy rains. Last year heavy rains caused flood. We had to vacate our village.
