According to Bacon "Reading maketh a full man; writing anexact man and conference a ready man.' And if someone askswhat reading, writing and conference make together, anyonewould say that they stand for education. In other words, wecan say that education makes anyone COMPLETE, ACCURATE and WORLDLY WISE. It means that no one is complete without education. Thus we can confidently say that education is necessary for the all-round development of the personality of a human-being. He cannot hope for success, name, fame and prosperity in life without it. Even a nation would be devoid of anyprogress, if its citizens fail to have the benefits of education.H.L Wayland has correctly said, "Universal suffrage, withoutuniversal education, would be a curse." Between-class ability grouping, which is the practice of lumpingchildren together in separate classes according to their talentsand ability level, is ineffective according to many researchstudies. Research findings claim that, although ability groupingmay have slight benefits for students who are assigned tohigh track classes, these benefits are balanced by losses forstudents who are assigned to low-tracked classes. Pullingstudents into low-tracked classes is damaging for a few reasonsFirst, these students are not or are only exposed to a fewpositive role models. Also, many teachers do not enjoy teachinglow tracked classes and have low expectations of their students. Every morning, except when there is no school, I have to get up before the sun rises, perform the morning routine of visiting the bathroom, clean up and then get ready for breakfast. Breakfast is always the same affair of bread, jam and tea or coffee, with an egg or two on some days. Next it is the inevitable donning of my school uniform and going out to wait for the school bus to arrive. It is always exciting if it rains in the morning, for then we get a horde of screaming wet school kids brandishing umbrellas like swords at one another. That makes the driver mad, but it is a wonderful change from the dull routine of dry mornings. Alas, wet mornings are few and more...
